The shipbuilding industry may add 19 industry standards

On December 7, 2016, China Shipbuilding Industry Association officially released China Shipbuilding Capacity Utilization Monitoring Index (CCI) at the 2016 Guangzhou Maritime Exhibition. China Shipbuilding Capacity Utilization Monitoring Index is the first index released by China's shipbuilding industry. It is a comprehensive index reflecting the utilization degree of China's shipbuilding capacity and playing a role in predicting the future trend. China shipbuilding capacity utilization monitoring index is scheduled to be released around the 20th of each quarter. According to calculation, the monitoring index of China's shipbuilding capacity utilization in 2015 was 644 points, and the index of the third quarter of 2016 was 607 points.

Since the 2008 financial crisis, the international shipping market has entered the long cycle of continuous adjustment and downturns period, excess production capacity and insufficient demand have become the main contradiction restricting the development of our shipping industry. To implement the spirit of the relevant documents of the State Council, ministry of industry and strengthen the ship industry dynamic monitoring analysis of capacity requirements, China shipbuilding industry association such as research center of China shipbuilding industry economic and market institutions and industry experts for two years for the research of the China shipbuilding capacity utilisation monitoring index compiling work.

China Shipbuilding Capacity Utilization Monitoring Index fully considers the capacity characteristics of China's shipbuilding industry, and selects several main factors affecting the actual utilization of shipbuilding capacity to construct an index system, which effectively solves the difficult problem of unified and effective determination of shipbuilding capacity in China, and at the same time can predict the future capacity utilization. It is helpful to understand the actual utilization of shipbuilding capacity in China practically and timely, and provide reference for policy decision-making of government departments, enterprise production and operation, and social from all walks of life.
